Retail, CPG & distributed commercial operations

Pay for the activation you can see.

Brands fund taps, coolers, branding, menu listings and refurbishments in outlets they don't control — and mostly take it on trust. Routario compares each agreement with dated evidence, finds what is missing, idle, moved or pouring a competitor, and puts each case in front of the person who can correct it, hold the payment or recover the asset.

What goes wrong today

Money goes out on a schedule. Proof comes in, if at all, once a year.

Payment isn't linked to evidence.

Bonuses and support are paid on the agreement's calendar. Whether the outlet kept its side is checked later, on a sample — or not at all.

Funded equipment wanders.

The cooler moves to the back room, the parasols go to another venue, the tap starts pouring something else. The asset register still says it's working for you.

Nobody owns the gap.

When a rep spots a problem, it's a note in a visit report. Recovering the asset or holding the next payment needs someone to decide — and a record that they did.

How the Job runs

Agreement, evidence, decision — then proof it stuck.

1

The agreement becomes a checklist

What each outlet was funded for — equipment, branding, listings, visibility, exclusivity — becomes a short list of things a photo can show, per outlet.

2

Dated evidence arrives

From rep visits in the Routario app, or photos e-mailed by the outlet or distributor at a set rhythm — before each payment, for example.

3

Each item is read and compared

AI answers the same questions for every photo — present, visible, in use, branded, competitor in it — and compares them with the agreement and the asset's own photo history.

4

Exceptions are priced

Partial or missing delivery is valued at the support paid or due for it, so the list starts with what matters most.

5

The owner decides

Correct with the outlet, hold the next payment, recover or redeploy the asset — or accept it with a reason. Nothing is withheld or clawed back without a person saying so.

6

The next photo closes it

The case stays open until new evidence shows the fix. The asset's photo history becomes the register you can trust.

The trade-marketing owner decides what happens next.

Who does what

Routario keeps the evidence. Your people decide what it means.

What Routario does

  • Turns each agreement into checks a photo can answer, outlet by outlet.
  • Asks for evidence at the right moment — before a payment, after an installation — and chases what doesn't arrive.
  • Reads every photo the same way and keeps a dated photo history for every funded asset.
  • Values each exception at the support it relates to, and prepares the case.
  • Runs the follow-up — the correction request, the reminder, the recovery task — and checks the next evidence.

What your team decides

  • What counts as delivered — and what is close enough.
  • Every payment hold, recovery or redeployment. Anything that moves money stops at a draft until a person approves it.
  • How to treat each outlet. A long-standing partner with one bad month is a conversation, not a clawback. That judgment stays with you.

Economic model

What unverified trade spend is worth to you.

Two equations we fill in with you. The inputs you know go in first; the rates Routario can see and act on are what the pilot measures.

First implementation

One asset type or one campaign, before the next payment date.

What we need to start

  • The agreements or activation briefs for the outlets in scope — PDFs are fine.
  • Your asset list, with outlet, type and when it was placed.
  • A capture route: rep visits, or photos e-mailed by outlets or distributors.
  • The payment calendar, if you want evidence checked before money goes out.
  • One owner who decides on holds and recoveries, and one person who owns the pilot.

The first weeks

1
Scope

One asset type or campaign, the checks per item, the owner and the baseline.

2
Live

Evidence requested and read within one to two weeks; every finding reviewed.

3
Tune

Questions and value rules adjusted until the findings hold up.

4
Review

Delivered vs. funded, value confirmed, value acted on. Extend, or stop.

How impact is measured

  • Verified share — funded items with current evidence, before and during the pilot.
  • Compliance — share delivered as agreed, confirmed by your owner.
  • Action — payments held or adjusted, assets corrected, recovered or redeployed, and their value.
Our agreements are PDFs with different wording. Is that a problem?

No. Reading the agreement and turning it into a short list of visible checks is part of the Job. Your owner confirms that list once per agreement type before it is used.

Can Routario stop a payment in our ERP?

Routario prepares and records the decision — release, hold or reduce — and notifies the people who execute payments. It does not post to your ERP. Payments stay in your systems and under your approvals.

What if outlets don't send photos?

Missing evidence is itself a finding. Routario reminds the outlet, escalates to the account owner after the deadline you set, and shows the missing items next to the payments due.
